In March and October of each year, Gleeson Library | Geschke Center offers short-term trials of databases and other electronic resources we are considering adding to our collection. Current students, staff, and faculty should contact their library liaison to suggest an e-resource for trial or to add to a wishlist.
Current Trials

- Offers access to award-winning productions along with a wealth of engaging educational materials. This includes: classic and contemporary productions in live-capture and audio formats; video resources with insights from casts, creatives and academics to give context and enrich students’ learning; textual resources written by educators for educators, with essays, guides, and lesson plans giving in-depth looks at a play or topic. - Hosted on the Policy Commons platform, North American City Reports contains over five million pages of in-depth surveys, reports, and research from more than six hundred North American cities and urban agencies. Preserving the full text of surveys, budgets, statistical records, case studies, planning documents, training manuals, policy guidelines, reports, and news from the five hundred largest cities in North America. - Presents global perspectives on high-interest issues from 1957 to 1995. Featuring journal articles, books, serials, and agricultural and industrial reports from around the world. Of interest to those researching socioeconomic, political, environmental, scientific, technical, and military issues and events. Trial ends March 31, 2023. - Contains materials as diverse as State Department political analyses, White House confidential file materials, National Security Council policy statements, and CIA intelligence memoranda offering unique insights into the inner workings of the US government and world events in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
