- LibAnswers — Respond to patron inquiries submitted via ticketing queues, track reference transactions, submit FAQ entries, etc.
- LibCal — Manage your Appointments, manage group study room bookings, create events to display on the library events calendar, etc.
- LibWizard — Create forms, surveys, quizzes, and tutorials.
Log Into Your Account
Recommended: Use myUSF Credentials (SSO)
LibApps is integrated with the university’s single sign-on (SSO) system. This is the login method recommended by the Electronic Resources & Systems Department.
To log in:
- Go to the LibApps Login @ University of San Francisco page
- Choose myUSF Credentials
- Log in with your myUSF account
If you have questions, email: eresources-dept@usfca.edu
Alternative: Use LibApps Credentials with MFA
LibApps credentials are separate from your myUSF account. As of July 1, 2025, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for anyone using this login method.
Important: We strongly recommend that SSO users also configure LibApps MFA as a backup. If the university's SSO system experiences downtime or technical issues, you won’t be able to log in with your myUSF credentials — unless you’ve already set up LibApps MFA.
- Go to the LibApps Login @ University of San Francisco page
- Choose Login with your LibApps account credentials, enter your username and password, and click Log Into LibApps
- Enter the 6-digit Authentication Code associated with Springshare from the Duo Mobile app
- Click Verify
Note: You will need to manually open the Duo Mobile app to retrieve the code. You will not receive a push notification from Duo, as you do when logging in with your myUSF credentials.
- Go to the LibApps Login @ University of San Francisco page
- Choose Login with your LibApps account credentials, enter your username and password, and click Log Into LibApps
- On the LibApps Multi-Factor Authentication page, the Authenticator option will be pre-selected
- Use the Authenticator Application field to select Duo Mobile
- Scan the provided QR code with your Duo Mobile app
- In the app, tap Add
- Select Use QR Code to open the camera and scan the code
- Enter the 6-digit verification code generated from the Duo Mobile app
- Click the Activate MFA button
After activating, the next time you log into LibApps you'll be prompted for the MFA code from Duo Mobile.
Email the Electronic Resources & Systems department at eresources-dept@usfca.edu if you have any questions about your LibApps account.
