Getting Started

If you are new to editing Wikipedia, here are some places to get started with editing. You can work with a classmate or edit on your own. Below you will see a list of options of things to do.

Improving upon previous years articles

Go to the Event Dashboard and look at the artists page. You can partner up with someone to make edits to these articles to improve upon them.

Finding Articles

On the Event Dashboard, you can look at articles page, and see the Available Articles, and click on the Find Articles search box to find more using keywords like "women artists."

Add citations

Use the Citation Hunter to find articles that need help with finding additional sources. You can do searches for categories of articles that need more citations like "women artists."

Adding Infoboxes

One easy way to improve Wikipedia articles is to add Infoboxes to existing articles. You can peruse this list of Women Artists who need Infoboxes. Here is a tutorial on how to make an Infobox.
