Born in San Francisco, I have an MS in Library and Information Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and studied Culture, Ecology, and Sustainable Community at New College of California. Pronouns: she/her.
I've worked in all kinds of libraries in Southern and Northern California, and in between have been a planning and environmental law analyst, a recycling center manager, a bindery worker, and a photographer. .
My career at Gleeson began in Periodicals in 1998. Currently I head the library department that manages our collections from selecting and deselecting, ordering, receiving, and paying to making them accessible amd findable in the library catalog and discovery systems. I'm also available for copyright consultations. I specialize in video and other media collections, liaise with the Media Studies Department and Urban Agriculture program, and co-manage the USF Seed Library.
