Two ways to find theory based research in CINAHL
1. Use a subject heading search and then add in a keyword. This is particularly useful for the following models/theories:
- Health Belief Model
- Theory of Reasoned Action (Ajzen-Fishbein Theory of Reasoned Action) & Theory of Planned Behavior
- Transtheoretical Model/Stages of Change
- Diffusion of Innovations
- Social Marketing
2. Use a simple keyword search. This is particularly useful for:
- Socioecological Model
- Integrated Behavioral Model
- Behavioral Economics
