About Me
I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the city and Marin. I have an undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Oregon and a Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. I have been a certified archivist (CA) since 2008.
Work
Prior to coming to the Gleeson Library in August 2019, I was the University Archivist and Head of Special Collections, as well as a Reference & Instruction Librarian at Dominican University of California in San Rafael for 12 years.
Interests
My professional interests include the role archives play in societal memory and organizational accountability, instruction using primary sources, oral history, and digital curation. My personal interests include theater and dance, hiking, and star-gazing.
