The library instruction program of Gleeson Library supports the teaching and learning goals of the campus. Our focus is to assist with the integration and teaching of information literacy throughout the student experience while at USF, with the aim to empower students to think critically about information. Instructors can request a librarian to come teach an instruction session that covers how to do research using library resources, developing topics, ethically using information, and more. Contact us to collaborate with a librarian to develop a session or content that is tailored for your class or assignment.

Instructors can request a librarian to teach an instruction session that covers how to do research using library resources, developing topics, ethically using information, and more. We collaborate with instructors to create customized sessions that are tailored for your class. Due to the time it takes to schedule and prepare for instruction sessions, we request at least 2 weeks advance notice. Please fill out this request form to schedule a library instruction session. We ask that instructors are present with their class during the session.
