LINK+
LINK+ is a free service that allows eligible USF community members to request items from over 50 other college & public libraries in California & Nevada. Use Link+ to request:
- Fast delivery of books and other physical materials from other libraries
Search LINK+
Searching and requesting in LINK+ can be done in two ways:
- After any search in the Ignacio Library Catalog or Fusion, you can re-do your search in LINK+ by clicking the Search LINK+ button.
- You can access the LINK+ Catalog directly, then search by author, title, keyword or subject.
What you need to know
Currently enrolled USF students, staff, faculty, emeriti faculty, and Fromm affiliates may use LINK+.
USF Law School students, faculty, and staff are not eligible to use LINK+.
LINK+ items are typically delivered within 2-3 business days of your request.
LINK+ items will be held for pickup for 10 days after receipt at the 1st floor library Circulation Desk. LINK+ items for home delivery will be mailed to the designated address on record. For patrons picking up items at other Pickup Elsewhere participating institutions, items will be held for 10 days at those libraries.
The loan period for LINK+ items is 21 days. You may have up to 15 LINK+ items and outstanding requests at one time.
Link+ requests for renewal will be considered only during a five-day window consisting of two days before the due date, the due date, and two days after the due date.
Requests for renewal are requests only, as the institution that owns the materials may deny the renewal. If the request is accepted, the renewal period is 21 days. Books may be renewed one time only at the Circulation Desk or online.
Link + renewals will read Renew Pending in the STATUS field. You must return to "View Your Patron Record" at a later time to verify if it has actually been renewed.
Charges for lost or damaged LINK+ materials are $115 per item.
