In order to streamline searching for resources, Gleeson Library retired the Doncore library catalog interface on June 30, 2020. USF students, faculty, and staff no longer have access to Doncore. The decision to retire Doncore was based on low use and duplicative functionality in our other search interfaces, Ignacio and Fusion.
Suggested actions for faculty
- Check links in Canvas before your next class begins to make sure they go to Ignacio or Fusion instead of Doncore.
- Review the equivalent functionality to learn how to replicate Doncore functions in Ignacio and Fusion (e.g. exporting to Refworks, community tagging, sorting search results with facets, etc.)
Ignacio and Fusion
The Ignacio and Fusion search interfaces offer much of the same functionality as Doncore:
- Ignacio: Library Catalog
The library catalog lets you search across the holdings of Gleeson Library and Zief Law Library, including books, videos, and other materials. - Fusion
Fusion allows you to search, in one place, the majority of the library’s books, articles, videos, etc. It includes all the materials in our library catalog Ignacio, as well as the content of the majority of our many databases.
