I was born & raised in Albany, New York and spent a year living in Geislingen, Germany on an exchange program before attending college in Massachusetts; where I received a BA in Creative Writing & Philosophy (Bradford College), an AA in Advertising Design (Boston College) and attended graduate courses in ESL & Foreign Languages (German & French) at Northeastern University before moving to San Francisco in 1994.
I have worked at USF's Gleeson Library since July of 1997, holding various positions in the Distance Learning, Access/Circulation, Instruction and Reference & Research Services departments. I currently oversee all aspects of reference technology, staff scheduling and student assistant management. Prior to USF, I worked in public, academic and corporate libraries in Boston, New York & San Francisco.
