  • Neighborhood Branches  Neighborhood branches may have local papers and community information files. They might collect information on the history or current conditions of the neighborhood.
  • SFPL Catalog Books, videos, etc. available at the San Francisco Public Library.
  • Community Services Directory is an online directory, which you can browse by neighborhood. Please note: this directory has not been updated since 2009.
  • SFPL Government Information Center  Located on the 5th floor of the San Francisco Public Library, the Government Information Center is the official repository for city government documents. They maintain an excellent website for finding San Francisco government information.
  • San Francisco History Center  Located on the 6th floor of the San Francisco Public Library, the History Center contains a research collection of books, newspapers and magazines, photographs, maps, posters, archives and manuscript collections, and ephemera, documenting all aspects of San Francisco life and history. The Center is also the archives for the City and County of San Francisco.
