I work in Gleeson Library's Reference Department. In my capacity as a liaison librarian I provide research assistance, lead library workshops, and order books for the following programs and departments: Economics, Energy Systems Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, International Studies, Migration Studies, Military Science, Politics, Public Leadership, and Urban and Public Affairs. I also help manage the library's participation in the Federal Depository Library Program.
I have a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Politics from Oberlin College, a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina, and a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland.
Before joining USF in 2002, I worked at the University of Maryland in McKeldin Library's Government Documents Department and at the World Resources Institute, an environmental think tank. Prior to becoming a librarian I worked for several years in the field of community development finance at the Institute for Community Economics.
