About Me
I have a BA in Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Scandinavian Studies from UCLA, attended International Summer School at the University of Oslo where I studied Scandinavian Culture and Politics, and acquired my Masters of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from Syracuse University.
Work
I have a broad professional history from business management to field research, all of which I bring to my work in librarianship.
As the Outreach Librarian, I operate within three pillars of service: service to students, service to faculty and service to my library colleagues. Highlighting and promoting all that Gleeson has to offer benefits everyone.
Interests
I am passionate about empowering students to succeed, sharing my love of librarianship and promoting graphic novels for critical scholarship. If you are interested in graphic novels, graphic medicine or graphic memoirs, please contact me!
