I am originally from Northern California, born and raised just down the coast in Watsonville. I have a B.S. in Health Education from San Francisco State University and a Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
Before becoming a librarian, I found employment as a research assistant, caseworker and library assistant. I have always been interested in the health sciences and health as a human rights issue. I have been with USF since October of 2011.
When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, running, spending time outdoors in the beautiful SF Bay Area with my family, and trying my hand at different arts and crafts.
